Our Story
DoubleWood 12 whisky was launched in 1993, using a process designed by our Honorary Ambassador and Former Malt Master David C. Stewart in 1982, now commonly known as 'wood finishing'.
Our very own Honorary Ambassador and Former Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE pioneered this technique of finishing back in the 1980s, making him a leading figure, and expert, in crafting these whisky expressions.
Sweet fruit and Olorosso sherry notes, layered with honey and vanilla.
Smooth and mellow with beautifully combined flavours - nutty sweetness, cinnamon spiciness and a delicately proportioned layer of sherry.
