A Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend guided, crafted & matured by the Vilafonté team.   The vines are planted, not only on the Vilafonté property, but also in specifically selected ancient soils found in and around the Western Cape of South Africa.

It’s all about the dirt. Regionally agnostic, soil specific.

The Blend: Matured for eighteen months with French oak. Seriously Old Dirt 2021 consists of Cabernet Sauvignon (eighty-eight percent), Malbec (eight percent), Merlot (two percent) and Cabernet Franc (two percent).
