The Glenlivet Nadurra Peated

The Nadurra (Gaelic for natural) range is a smaller batch series from Glenlivet, which offers the more experienced whisky drinkers something a little more interesting outside of the standard line-up. This Peated Whisky Cask Finished expression, released in late 2015, is first matured in first fill ex-bourbon barrels and then finished in casks that previously held heavily peated Scotch whisky. Unchillfiltered and bottled at cask strength of 62%.

Nose: Red apples, citrus zest and aromatic smoke.

Palate: Tangy marmalade, creamy vanilla toffee with a toasted smokiness.

Finish: Lengthy with spice and layers of subtle smoke.
